Huge thanks to Mike for giving us such an excellent tour of the Flanders Area. He was so accommodating to our needs and very well informed on all subjects. It was very interesting to see his collection of WW1 shells too. This added another dimension to the tour. He was so enthused about the topic it made it a very unique and fascinating experience. We recently visited Ypres with the intention of looking up the whereabouts of a memorial to a family member lost in WWI battle at Passendale.
The guide we contacted was very helpful and extremely knowledgeable in all local history. He was also happy to share what life is like in the area these days. It was particularly interesting to hear of the challenges facing the agricultural sector who are still dealing with the remnants of the fighting from all those years ago.

We searched online for tours and came across this one, it received good reviews so we booked. We contacted Michael who came back to us swiftly with a detailed plan of our tour and meeting arrangements. It was very well structured and tailored to us. We had a warm welcome, a verbal description of the tour and locations. We set off with commentary along the way to each location. The transport was very comfortable and easy to get in and out of, we were 2 adults with children aged 14 & 16 and the tour suited all. Michael went above and beyond to ensure we had an enjoyable tour. I would highly recommend and would book again when we come back as so much to see in so little time.

Mike was fantastic. He stepped in to help us when the tour guide we had arranged failed to turn up to do his job. Mike went out of his way to make our trip to Flanders and France to pay respects to family members who died in both world wars a special occasion. It was both fun and informative. Best tour with a local (his family grew up here) and took us to places that were completely custom for Canadians. Also access some off the beaten path that have great significance and history to our country. Highly recommend. (Very comfy too!)
