We stayed in this absolutely wonderful chalet with 2 other families with children. The kids had a blast - it has a pool with a WAVE MACHINE! The large communal lounge area is fab, with a huge table and lovely balconies overlooking the valley.

The chalet is so thoughtfully kitted out for skiing, with hooks in all the right places and a heated boot room that makes it easy to get ready in the morning and have everything dry. The bus stop is super close and it's only 10 mins down to Les Gets centre.

Highly recommended - we will return!

Chalet Getois is an absolutely incredible place. We have stayed both in winter and summer with two other families and had a brilliant time each time. The chalet itself has everything you could ever want, excellent views, great swimming pool, well designed bedrooms and a large open plan living space upstairs.
Les Gets is a great place to stay with lots of nice places to eat out and plenty of activities, whether that's skiing in the winter or epic bike rides in the summer. The local free bus service also comes in really helpful, particularly after a few drinks in town, although the chalet is only a quick walk anyway.

Alpine perfection! An absolutely perfect chalet to stay with a large family or even more than one family. The design, space and set up is so well thought out that even with our group of 13 it still felt spacious and private. The views from the bedrooms and living space are worth the trip alone. The pool worked really well for all, especially the children and the hot tub was ideal at the end of each day. The kitchen set up is great for cooking for large groups and there are spacious inside and outside eating options. The bedrooms are well thought out for adults and children. Les Gets in summer had more on offer than we could cover in the two weeks and were already planning a return trip, just to make use of the chalet again.

We had an incredible family ski trip staying at the chalet. Everything had been professionally interior designed to not only look beautiful but to also work amazingly for guests and families. A fun bunkbed room for all the friends and cousins to sleep together (with a little reading light per bunk and inset shelf for books and personal treasures. An amazing open plan loving dining space for adults and kids to feel they have their own space. And a heated boot room for cold little hands and feet - and warm togs to put on the next day before ski school. Oh and an amazing view of the slopes and swimming pool with kiddie hit wave machine!!

We love this Chalet so much that this is the second year we’ve been back. We’ve been lucky enough to stay in both summer and winter and it’s equally amazing in both.

From the moment you step through the door you feel at home - we've been with 2 other families (12 of us in total) and have found the setup, design and space perfect for a big group. The top floor kitchen/living area is a great social space and the views from the bedrooms and main balcony/outdoor dining area and terrace are incredible. The kids absolutely love the pool, spending hours on end in there.

We love Les Gets and the Chalet is in an ideal spot to explore the town and the area which has lots going on. We can’t recommend this place highly enough!

A truly spectacular chalet! Our experience was delightful—everyone loved it, from the adults to the children. Everything worked seamlessly, making it an absolute dream location for a summer vacation in the Alps. The placement of the chalet meant we enjoyed amazing blue-sky vistas that were unobstructed and un-overlooked. Just a short walk downhill, we discovered the most incredible bakery/patisserie with out-of-this-world croissants and tarts. There was plenty of space for out party, so we never felt crowded, and the children had ample entertainment for the days we chose to stay in. The layout is brilliant, the kitchen well thought out and a delight to cook in. The large terrace perfect for dining or star gazing on the beautiful clear nights. A lot of thought and care has gone into this chalet, if you are thinking of booking, I would wholeheartedly recommend!

We stayed at Chalet Getois with another family in August 2023 and with two other families in August 2024 all with young children.

On both occasions it was as spectacular as it was spacious and luxurious. There are a number of spaces to retreat to, both indoor and outdoor. The property is arranged with a large open plan living space on the top floor - with stunning view of the valley and beyond that to the mountains. It also has a beautiful indoor resistance pool, exterior hot tub and two terraces for eating and entertainment.

For hardened (and fit) road cyclists you attempt in Col de Joux Plane and be back for brunch ( or in my case lunch) . Running trails and walking are easy from the chalet for adults , though families may wish to drive down to the village centre if children are very young as there is only narrow pavement.

Les Gets offers lots of activities, bars restaurants and then plenty of grocery shops. Also several delicious french patisseries and bakeries. The summer activities include numerous lifts to take down hill mountain bikers up the mountain and Les Gets Luges.

For the clean mountain air, peace and restoration from the daily grind we can’t recommend his idyllic place enough.
